This type of block is used to protect the steel part of a furnace that is a support of holders of suspended roof. This part is a very important one as its break down can lead to burning of the steel structure and, correspondingly, to the collapse of the roof in this furnace section.
Material NK-29, due to its high-temperature strength, increases product durability to a considerable extent. Low thermal conductivity reduces heat transfer to the furnace steel and prevents its rapid destruction.
