Steel structures protection block – NK-29
The block protects the metal part of the furnace on which the suspended arch supports rest.
A very important detail: if it fails, there is a risk of the metal structure burning out, leading to the collapse of the furnace roof in that section.
NK-29 material, thanks to its increased strength at high temperatures, significantly increases the wear resistance of the products. Low thermal conductivity reduces heat transfer to the furnace metal and prevents its rapid deterioration.
