Light-weight refractories | Insulating firebricks

NK light-weight refractories are produced without combustible additives and the use of the foam method, as opposed to the traditional way, thus having geometry fidelity and high mechanical strength.
Such refractories are used in heat-treating and firing furnaces and other thermal generating units as effective heat insulation for intermediate and outer layers of a refractory lining and also as working lining (if it is not exposed to liquid alloys and there is no mechanical damage risk).
The use of light-weight refractories as not protected (exposed) or protected heat insulation reduces the amount of heat lost to the environment, lowers fuel consumption up to 45% and reduces the kiln heat-up time due to the reduction of heat losses into walls and cooling-down time.
